Ready for a mind-blowing alternative to dieting... it's called intuitive eating.
The idea of intuitive eating can seem far-fetched, but in all reality it is more natural to us than dieting, restricting, binge eating etc. Consider every baby you have ever known. My own 8 month old son slaps the bottle right out of my hand when he is done. He doesn't think about the caloric content or the number of carbohydrates when he eats. He just eats when he is hungry and stops (slaps) when he is full. He eats what tastes good to him. We are all intuitive eaters, we just have to have intention to follow our intuitive side as opposed to what the majority of the world around us is selling. And when I say selling, I mean selling. Consider the fact that the diet industry brings in on average 35 billion dollars a year selling you it's products. Why do we spend so much trying to purchase something we already own? You are an intuitive eater. Drop the diet.
